Cabezon:

As a reminder, anglers will be permitted to harvest cabezon beginning Monday, July 1st. Cabezon regulations remain unchanged from last year: the daily bag limit is one (and counts toward limit of 7 rockfish, greenling, etc) and the minimum size limit is 16 inches.

The delayed start of the cabezon season was due to public input preferring harvest opportunities later in summer than during spring or early summer.

Since cabezon quotas are typically attained inseason (resulting in premature closure of the fishery), anglers are recommended to check the ODFW website prior to fishing to check for updates.
