Sea-run cutthroat fishing has been fair to good.???? Some Chinook have made there way upriver also.?? There are steelhead scattered through out the river.?? There is a good coastal storm hitting the coast today and the river is forecast to crest at 4.8ft.?? which will really perk up the fishing upriver.?? There is a big tree down across the river about 1/2 mile below the put in at 1st. Bridge.?? You will have to put in at the "Rock Hole" until this tree floats downriver.?? We will keep you updated.?? Next week the weather forecaster tells us that it will be a wet week which will improve fishing. There is a boat ramp fee starting 10/15/07 at the Cloverdale Boat Ramp.?? Permits can be picked up at Nestucca Valley Sporting Goods in Hebo.?? The fees are $4.00 daily or $25.00 for a yearly pass.
