Lake Selmac was stocked with 1,000 legal-size rainbow the week of May 27. It has been stocked several times since February, including 3,500 legal-size rainbow the week of May 13. Fishing has been good, with reports of fly-anglers doing well with leeches or streamers and a slow strip. Gear anglers have been finding success as well. With summer temperatures coming expect the trout to seek out the deeper, colder water. Bass anglers have reportedly been catching fish as the lake water has warmed up.
