Lake Selmac facilities operated by Josephine County Parks are currently open. More information about Josephine County Parks and responses to COVID-19 can be found on their website.

Bass and panfish are available here year-round. The weeds are not that terrible yet, and bank anglers can still find open water.

Lake Selmac continued to be stocked with trout earlier in the spring and most recently the last week of May, but the warm weather has turned this into primarily a warmwater fishery for the rest of the summer. If you are interested in trout, the best bet would be near the dam as that is the deepest coldest part of the lake at this time of the year.

Anglers boating should only be doing so with member of their own household as most vessels do not provide the minimum 6 feet of social distancing recommended by the CDC.
