Fish Lake Fish Report for 12-16-2020
Lake is Steadily Rising
Fish Lake - Lakecreek, OR (Jackson County)
by OR Department of Fish & Wildlife Staff
Fish Lake Marina and store are open on their winter schedule, Fridays through Sunday. The lake is steadily rising and currently at 27 percent full. The Forest Service boat ramp is again usable, but expect snow on the ramp. It’s possible to launch a small vessel from the gravel portion of the ramp and as of a week ago was plenty of open water.
If ice is present, it’s not thick enough to ice fish. As of last Sunday, the lake had plenty of open water and looked great -- still very fishable. Watch this weekend’s weather, or call the resort to find the most current conditions. This highway 140 webcam at Lake of the woods will give you a good idea of the road conditions.
Fish Lake was stocked with trophy trout in early October, and fall fingerling tiger trout.

Tiger trout, Chinook salmon, brook trout, and larger rainbow trout are available. Remember that tiger trout must be immediately released unharmed. Anglers are encouraged to report their catch of tiger trout to fish district staff at 541-826-8774 ext 234 or 226
