The Nestucca’s returning hatchery steelhead run is predominantly “broodstock” hatchery fish, meaning therir origins are Nestucca wild steelhead, As such, their run timing mimics that of the wild run and peaks January through March. That said, there should be a few fish around as the Nestucca drops back into shape. If the hydrograph predictions are accurate, it should be high but fishable on Thursday and in good shape Christmas day through the weekend.

Three Rivers gets the majority of the basins remaining “early” hatchery fish and they should be peaking right now. Three Rivers can be fished in high conditions and should be fishable now through the weekend and early next week.
