The pond was stocked last week

The pond was stocked last week with about 1,500 hatchery trout. In addition, there was a special delivery of about 150 extra-large brood trout that went in last week. Walling Pond is regularly stocked throughout the winter and spring. As a reminder, only one fish over 20 inches is allowed as part of a five trout daily bag limit.

This is an eight-acre privately-owned pond with public access in Salem at the northeast corner of McGilchrist and 16th Streets, S.E. There is no trash service out there so please pack out what you packed in.
