The winter steelhead fishing season is still officially open, but 99 percent of the anglers have stopped steelhead fishing for the season.   

Anglers are starting to fish for striped bass in the upper Coquille River  around Coquille and Arago. Fishing at night will increase your chances of catching a striped bass. 

Trout fishing in streams and rivers will reopen May 22.
