Expect snow but open water for the weekend. The store, restaurant and marina are open Friday-Sunday. Call 541-949-8500 or check their Facebook page for more info. The ODOT trip check camera is always worth looking at before heading up and can be viewed here.

Fish lake has plenty of open water between the marina and USFS boat ramp. The reservoir is slowly filling with some snow runoff and natural spring input and is currently 41 percent full. The Forest Service ramp is launchable for small vessels, as is the marina. Trout have been caught on a regular basis.

For more information on National Forest developed recreation sites, fire restrictions and campground information for the Rogue River Siskiyou National Forest please visit here. Sno park permits are necessary for parking from November 1-April 30. A season pass can be purchased for $25 dollars (there’s also 1 day and 3 day available) at vendors such as REI, Blackbird Shopping Center, or Sportsman’s Warehouse in Medford, and the Ace Hardware in Shady Cove

Any tiger trout caught should be immediately released unharmed. Anglers are encouraged to report their catch or any other fish stories to Rogue Fish District Staff 541-826-8774.
