There have been so many whale sightings lately it's difficult to remember a time when there were not! What makes the summer season such an ideal time to come see the Gray Whales of Depoe Bay? The main thing that draws these giant animals to our coast is the amount of zooplankton that flock to the area in order to feed off the phytoplankton (small marine plants) which increase drastically in numbers and growth due to the warmer water and sun exposure. With over 100 reefs right off our shores, this provides the Gray Whales with a nearly unparalleled amount of food, bringing them to the area time and time again. Come out with us on our next trip to see these beauties up close. Book online or give us a call (541) 765-2345. We look forward to seeing you!

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (541) 765-2345.
