Water temperatures have increased. Catch rates are very low but redband trout are recolonizing the burned area. The river above the fire is a better bet for fishing. Fish density is increasing very slowly due to the Bootleg Fire but redband trout have been the first to recolonize the areas near the 3411 road bridge crossing.
