No retention of wild coho allowed for the remainder of 2022

The wild coho fishery on the Nestucca basin closed after Oct. 15. There will be no retention of wild coho allowed for the remainder of 2022.

Given the rain and the associated rise in the river most fish that have been holding in the estuary thus far should start their upriver migration. I would expect Chinook fishing to slow in the bay this week but be fair to good in the lower river.
