Current flow is around 3,100 cfs and temperature in the low-40s F. The river has good color and we’ve had recent reports of good winter steelhead catch rates around Grants Pass over the last few weeks.

Wild winter steelhead over 24 inches may be harvested upstream of Hog Creek boat ramp starting Feb. 1 to April 30(1 per day, 3 per season). Please check out MyODFW for info on new validation and harvest tag requirements in the Rogue and South Coast Rivers.

Salmon River: The river is low and clear
Siletz River: Fishing has picked up with the recent rains over the past few weeks
Trask River: The Trask is predicted to go back up over 10 feet late this week
Wilson River: Wilson River Trophy Winter Steelhead
Yaquina River: Fishing has been fair the past few weeks but coming into April it will slow down
Diamond Lake: Some anglers have been catching tiger trout while ice fishing
Emigrant Reservoir: Emigrant is 42 percent full
Galesville Reservoir: There have been very good reports of anglers catching a lot of hold over trout
Howard Prairie Reservoir: Howard Prairie is at 20 percent full
Rogue River- Lower: Spring Chinook fishing has been pretty good
