What a perfect day on the water with Tradewinds Charters in Depoe Bay! The ocean was flat as glass, making for ideal fishing conditions. Both the Kadaho and Mr. Max headed out, and the results were incredible. The Kadaho reported limits all the way around, while the Mr. Max had a max-out day on Rockfish, an outstanding Lingcod catch, and over seven crabs per person!

🍀 Spotlight Catch: Green Lingcod! 🍀

One of today’s catches from the Kadaho was a stunning green Lingcod, a rare and eye-catching fish that seems perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! Lingcod can sometimes appear green due to a natural pigment called biliverdin, which gives the fish its vibrant hue. It’s harmless and just one of nature’s little surprises—truly a lucky catch!

Unfortunately, the ocean is expected to change over the next couple of days, but we’ll be back at it near the end of the week.
