Aquatic vegetation and increasing water temperatures has pretty much ended fishing for the season. The best time to try your luck will be early morning or late evening when the trout will move out from cover and into openings of the vegetation. Located on Arizona Beach State Park property, this pond offers a unique angling opportunity to youth anglers under 17. If the fishing is tough, budding wildlife viewing enthusiasts may have an opportunity to observe various birds, amphibians, deer/elk, beavers, and river otters.
