This urban lake usually gets stocked from about Thanksgiving through May. It was stocked for the first time this fall with about 1,000 averaging greater than 1-pound. Anglers may keep only one fish over 20-inches as part of their 5 trout bag limit.

Walter Wirth is a 20-acre lake located within the City of Salem’s Cascades Gateway Park with good access all the way around.
