SALMON RIVER: Winter steelhead
Winter steelhead are still moving throughout the Salmon River! Wild fish can be retained on the Salmon River, and bank access can be found throughout the system though its less frequent through the lower stretches after the hatchery. Higher up into the fishery you can find some bank access in the Van Duzer area. The bite has been slow on the Salmon River, but fish are still around! This will be the last weekend to fish for Steelhead in the Salmon River before it closes next week! Check your regulations before you head out for bait or stream restrictions.
