Summer steelhead are in the Wilson River with a few fish getting caught. The weekend's rain should have dispersed summers throughout the fishery. There is plenty of public access off Highway 6. Trout angling opened in streams May 22 and there are cutthroat trout throughout the Wilson River. There are no hatchery spring Chinook releases on the Wilson River.
