The lodge has boat docks set up. Last checked, all ramps but Thielsen view ramp are open. The main ramp cleaning station is under repair and will not be open until a further date. There haven't been many anglers hitting Diamond Lake yet, but angling for holdover trout has been good, with several limits being reported. Be prepared for the mosquitos, they are biting.

Diamond Lake has been stocked with tiger and brown trout. These fish were introduced to help control illegally introduced tui chub. These trout are catch-and-release only and need to be released immediately and unharmed if caught. Follow these catch-and-release tips for reducing fish mortality.
