A few early hatchery summer steelhead have crossed Winchester Dam.

Spring Chinook seasons are determined annually a few months before season. In 2026, anglers may retain one wild adult Chinook per day and 10 for the season as well as 5 jacks per day through June 30. Early counts over the dam are good. Chinook have been harvested in the Swiftwater Park area. Angling success is fair
